Sinus Infection

I have a sinus infection. YUCK! I came home from school this morning feeling sick to my stomach and then by mid morning my teeth were throbbing so bad that I couldn't stand it. I took some Tylenol and layed on the couch with the heating pad plastered to my face. This afternoon I went to the Dr. and got on some antibiotics, hopefully they will help. I really need to get back to school tomorrow since I was supposed to take over the class today.

School

School is not going so well. I have the worst class I think that ever existed. They don't do their homework, they talk constantly, they are mean to each other, oh and they throw things at me! I'm at my wit's end. Only 6 more weeks and if they don't fly by I don't know what I'm going to do. At least after this week I have 2-four day weeks that follow. The second one is actually only a 3 day week with students. I hate the fact that I'm not enjoying it since I had such high hopes for this experience. Wish me luck getting through the next 6 weeks.

9 Weeks

I can't believe how different I look already. Here are the pictures.



Today was such a happy day all day long. I definetly on cloud 9 now that we have seen and heard the heartbeat.

Ultrasound

How cute is that? The heartbeat, which we saw and heard, was 175 bpm.

9-21-08

Less than 48 hours until my Dr. appointment.

8 weeks...

and it feels so GOOD! It really does feel better to be 8 weeks than 7 weeks. We're still waiting until after my appt on Tuesday to spill the beans but it's getting harder to hide! Take a look for yourself.

Maternity clothes

I bought materinity jeans yesterday. I couldn't help myself. My jeans still fit but I thought I would try them on just to see how they fit, but to my surprise they were like HEAVEN! So comfortable! I had a 50% off coupon at Old Navy so I just decided I might as well get them for $16 even if I don't plan on wearing them for awhile. Well, as soon as I can get to MIL's to have her hem them I will totally be wearing them. I can't believe how comfortable they are.


I also went shopping for a new bra because mine just aren't fitting right. Well, much to my surprise, I have gone up 2 whole cup sizes. I am no longer a C and am a 36DD! I'm only 7.5 weeks, how big will they end up getting?!?! I'm afraid of what they may look like.

7 weeks

Today I'm 7 weeks! I'm not feeling real great about myself at this point. I'm almost afraid to put my belly pictures out there but I'm going to.

I think my belly just looks fat and most of my pants don't fit. I can't wait for my new clothes to come so maybe I can at least be comfortable.

The baby looks like a blueberry this week!

Pants don't fit

Since my work pants don't fit already I decided to do a little shopping. I bought some maternity clothes from Old Navy. I bought them on-line so hopefully they will fit otherwise I will just send them back.

I bought this sweater. I can't wait to wear it. Doesn't it look so comfy?!

I think these pants will fit since they look just like my non-maternity elastic waist capris.

These have a little more of a panel so hopefully they will fit but if not I'm sure they will eventually.

These dress pants just have little elastic pieces on the sides so hopefully they will fit too.

I'm pretty pleased with what I got and can't wait for it to actually get here. I will post picture once it all arrives and if it fits.

9-4-08

Make that two pairs of work pants that don't fit. I had to wear my tummy sleeve again today. I'm going to have to go looking for some elastic waist pants that I can wear to school until I can fit into maternity clothes.

6 Weeks

Here is my 6 week shot. Yes, I'm wearing sweats and a sweatshirt. It's 55 degrees here today. I love Fall!! It feels so good to be wearing warm clothes with windows open and the smell of chili coming from the kitchen.

That's a lot of bloat! I wore my tummy sleeve today since I have one pair of work pants that won't button right now.

5 week belly pic

I have been contemplating putting my belly pics up here for the last few days. I thought I might start later on, but after giving it some consideration I decided...why not?!

So here it is... my 5 week shot...

Lucky for me elastic waist capris were all over the stores this year and I have a few pairs to get me through these next several bloated weeks.

Here is my BFP also. For all you nesties that obsess just like I did. This was at 12DPO the next day in the afternoon the test was much darker yet I couldn't get a decent picture.

Almost 6 weeks

So, I will be 6 weeks on Wednesday and I really don't feel pregnant....at the moment. I usually get a little sick after I eat and usually at night. By nighttime by belly is so full and bloated that it just feels better to let it all hang out. It hurts so bad to try to suck it in and I swear I look at least 5 months pregnant. I'm also still very EXHUASTED! I seriously could go take a nap right now...good thing it's Labor Day and I can take a nap if I want to.

In other news, student teaching is going okay. I haven't changed my mind about teaching yet so that's a good thing. Oh, and those Praxis tests that I took 5 weeks....I PASSED! I passed one by 20 points and the other by 25 points. I guess I had nothing to worry about! :)
